Jensen Beach

Jensen Beach, Florida

Jensen Beach

Jensen Beach is rich with history, beginning with the arrival of John Lawrence Jensen in 1881. He established a pineapple plantation, and by 1895, the area was known as The Pineapple Capital of the World. In the 1920s, growers shifted their efforts to citrus.

Today, Jensen is known for its beach front condos on Hutchinson Island, as well as off Island, and up-scale residential and golf communities. It is a coastal town with a laid-back feeling, similar to the Florida Keys.

Residents and visitors enjoy unique community events, such as Jammin' Jensen, which takes place every Thursday night in downtown Jensen Beach from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ¬– between the free food and upbeat music, what’s not to love!

Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival is an entire weekend event each November. It's a great experience for the entire family, where everyone can celebrate wonderful concerts, midway rides, street performers, local bands, and much more.

Start the morning on the beach in Hutchinson Island, visit the quaint shops in downtown Jensen Beach, have a meal at Pietro's On the Ocean, and relax! In Jensen Beach, every day can feel like vacation.
